We are delighted that in December, 2020, ‘Port Moresby Towards 2030’ has been launched. This is the Urban Development Plan for the capital city of Papua New Guinea.
Atlas Urban was appointed by the National Capital District Commission to prepare the plan, and we are very proud to have worked with the NCDC Team. The plan addresses the current urban planning issues faced by Port Moresby. It identifies its development potential and strategies for managing rapid growth, establishing new town centres, new roads and infrastructure.
This is the master plan for Port Moresby for the next 10 years. We look forward to see the city transforming to a better place and we thank everyone who contributed in preparation of this plan.
