Established in 1949, this annual day of recognition celebrates the accomplishments of urban planners and designers and the contributions they have made to the community. This year over 30 countries will be taking part in a variety of World Town Planning Day festivities; from social media campaigns to awards ceremonies to conferences.

The World Planning Day Online Conference is a not-for-profit event that allows planners from across the globe to come together in a virtual space and discuss their work. This year instead of a uniting theme, each participating country will give a presentation on issues that are specifically relevant to their communities.
