The team was engaged by Lane Cove Council in association with Lane Cove Alive, to set out a long term vision for Lane Cove Village. The Structure Plan followed a process of community consultation, comprehensive background research and analysis of the town centre, examining in detail aspects of its urban form and social activities.

The resulting Structure Plan identifies seven precincts within the town centre and provides a detailed analysis of the precincts’ characteristics. This enabled the setting of a frame work of objectives and guidelines, which leads Lane Cove Village into becoming an environmentally sustainable, commercially successful, active and sociable place. The Structure Plan also sets out an implementation strategy to achieve the recommendations.
