Western Sydney University Campus Master Plan

New South Wales

Client | Western Sydney University

The landscape for the delivery of higher education and research is changing and universities need to provide environments which are adaptable and flexible. This is particularly pertinent for the Parramatta Campus of the University of Western Sydney, which is at a significant point in its growth. Its presence and function have significance as the major university serving Western Sydney. In parallel, this campus has a key strategic position located next to Sydney’s second CBD, and has the potential to significantly benefit the region by growing as a major education facility.

The resulting master plan emerges from a deep understanding of the potentials of the site and the University’s vision. It develops on the role of the university and the potential of the site in its wider context: the relationship to the CBD and role in Metropolitan Sydney. This master plan embodies an understanding of the future needs of the Parramatta campus over the next 20 years.
