The University of Technology is an institution of great national importance in Papua New Guniea. It is the second largest University in Papua New Guinea and the only technological university in the South Pacific, outside of Australia and New Zealand. The Papua New Guinea Development Strategic Plan 2010-2030 and the Papua New Guinea Development Strategy Plan predict a dramatic increase in the demand on tertiary institutions over the next 15 years. Unitech has an important role in the national focus towards creating a knowledge economy and developing a highly skilled workforce.

The Campus Master Plan presents a set of ‘high level’ concept designs for the site presenting layout options. This document presents the analysis, vision, options and yield analysis. It is a stand-alone document which serves to allow the University to make informed decisions about how the campus planning and development should proceed as is a powerful tool for communication with government and investors.
