Ourimbah is the southern gateway to Wyong Shire and is a centrally located strategic centre having good access to the M1 Motorway and the Main Northern railway line as well as containing the only Tertiary Education Institution on the Central Coast comprising a satellite campus of the University of Newcastle (UON), TAFE NSW (Hunter Institute) and the Central Coast Community College.

The master plan explores and develops a vision, framework and actions to address recommendations pertaining to the Town Centre including linkages, car-parking, servicing, safety and convenience. This vision was created in close consultation with key landholders, stakeholders, the residents, with the aim to facilitate the future growth and prosperity of the Ourimbah area, whilst protecting the area’s unique assets, including its character and sensitive natural setting. The master plan delivers a clear message to the business and general community about the importance of Ourimbah Town Centre as the retail, commercial and community district hub of Ourimbah.

This project will be completed in early 2018.
