Hiri-Koiari DDA - Stage 1 District Plan Handover, 29th April 2024

Significant milestone of Stage 1 Hiri-Koiari District Plan handover to Hiri-Koiari District Development Authority.

The Member for Hiri Koiari, Hon. Keith Iduhu, represented the Hiri-Koiari DDA to receive the progressive report. The report captures research into relevant studies, data sources and potential partners. The fact finding and gap analysis has identified important information sources, but it has also revealed important missing pieces that will be sourced in the coming stages. The report includes a concept master plan for the DDA's 60 hectare site - Bautama Newtown. This will be the new urban centre serve as the headquarters for the DDA, in a location that will become a focus for community and public life.
